Getting Started — How to Use Your Aluralight

Getting Started: How to Use Your Aluralight Follow these steps for the best experience with your Aluralight LED mask. Step 1: Charge Your Mask Insert your mask into the charging cradle and connect the USB-C cable. Do not use a fast or turbo charger. A red indicator light means the mask is charging; blue means it is fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. You do not need to charge the neck piece. Step 2: Prepare the Mask Remove the mask from the cradle. Insert the chin cushion for extra comfort. If you'd like to use the neck piece, attach it to the bottom of the mask. Step 3: Cleanse Your Face Cleanse your face thoroughly with your favourite facial cleanser before your session. Do not apply any products that could reflect light (heavy oils or sunscreen) before your session. Toners, serums, and moisturisers can be applied after your session. Step 4: Power On Hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the mask on. If it doesn't respond, try using the palm of your hand rather than your fingertips, as the controls are touch-sensitive and respond better to palm contact. Step 5: Automatic Session (Recommended) Once powered on, the mask will automatically cycle through: - Red light: 5 minutes (anti-aging, collagen stimulation) - Blue light: 5 minutes (acne, antibacterial) - Amber/Orange light: 10 minutes (firming, reducing dullness) This gives you a complete 20-minute session covering all skin concerns. The mask powers off automatically after 20 minutes. You can stop the session early if needed, though the full session delivers the most complete treatment. Step 6: Manual Color Selection (Optional) If you prefer a specific colour, tap the III symbol next to the power button to cycle through the available colours until you reach your desired setting. Step 7: Adjust the Straps Adjust the two straps for a comfortable fit. One goes behind your head, the other on top to secure the mask. Adjust the position of the top strap to find the most comfortable fit. Step 8: Enjoy Your Session The mask will automatically power off after 20 minutes. You can move around or lay down during your session. Find what's most comfortable for you. Helpful Tips - Avoid touching the right side of the mask while wearing it, as it is easy to accidentally switch colours or power off the device. - It is okay to leave your mask on the charger when not in use. - Keep your mask regularly charged so you can use it fully each session. - Many customers see results in as little as 2 weeks. Results vary by individual and frequency of use.

LED Color Guide — What Each Light Does

LED Color Guide: What Each Light Does Your Aluralight uses three clinically-studied wavelengths, each targeting different skin concerns. Red Light (633nm): Anti-Aging Red light penetrates deep into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. It targets fine lines, wrinkles, and promotes overall skin firmness and elasticity. Clinical studies have shown red light to improve skin texture and reduce signs of aging with consistent use. Best for: Fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, dull skin. Blue Light (415nm): Acne and Antibacterial Blue light targets acne-causing bacteria at the surface of the skin. It has been shown to reduce mild-to-moderate acne and may also assist with psoriasis. It works by disrupting the bacteria responsible for breakouts without harming surrounding skin tissue. Best for: Acne, breakouts, psoriasis, oily skin. Amber/Orange Light (590nm): Firming and Brightening Amber light works at the surface level to firm the skin and reduce dullness. It supports a brighter, more even complexion. Best for: Skin firmness, dullness, uneven tone. Automatic Session When you power on the mask, it automatically runs all three lights in sequence: Red (5 min), Blue (5 min), Amber (10 min), for a complete 20-minute full-coverage session. This is the recommended setting for most users. Manual Selection To use a specific colour only, tap the III symbol next to the power button to cycle to your desired setting. The mask will run that colour for the full 20-minute session before powering off automatically.

Complete Wavelength Guide — Red, Blue & Amber Explained

Your Complete Wavelength Guide The Aluralight uses three clinically-studied LED wavelengths, each scientifically shown to target specific skin concerns. Here's everything you need to know about each light and when to use it. 🔴 Red Light: 633nm Anti-Aging and Collagen Stimulation Red light penetrates deeper into the skin than any other visible wavelength. At the cellular level, it stimulates fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for firm, plump, youthful skin. What it targets: - Fine lines and wrinkles - Loss of firmness and elasticity - Skin texture and tone - Overall skin rejuvenation The science: Multiple peer-reviewed studies have demonstrated red light's ability to significantly reduce fine lines, improve skin roughness, and increase intradermal collagen density with consistent use. Session time: 5 minutes in the automatic cycle. 🔵 Blue Light: 415nm Anti-Acne and Antibacterial Blue light works at the surface level, targeting the bacteria (Cutibacterium acnes) responsible for breakouts. It disrupts the bacteria without harming surrounding healthy skin tissue. Clinical studies have demonstrated its effectiveness for mild-to-moderate facial acne and psoriasis. What it targets: - Active breakouts and acne - Acne-prone skin - Psoriasis - Oily skin prone to congestion The science: Clinical studies show blue light therapy is effective for reducing mild-to-moderate acne. It works by producing reactive oxygen species that are bactericidal to acne-causing bacteria. Session time: 5 minutes in the automatic cycle. 🟠 Amber/Orange Light: 590nm Firming and Brightening Amber light targets the surface layers of the skin to firm, tone, and brighten the complexion. It helps reduce dullness and promotes a more even, radiant skin tone. What it targets: - Skin dullness and lack of radiance - Uneven skin tone - Surface-level firmness - Overall complexion brightness Session time: 10 minutes in the automatic cycle, the longest segment because surface brightening benefits from extended exposure. The Automatic Session: All Three Combined When you power on the mask, it automatically cycles through all three wavelengths in sequence: Red 5 min, Blue 5 min, Amber 10 min = 20 minutes total This is the recommended setting for most users as it delivers a complete, multi-concern treatment in a single session. The mask powers off automatically after 20 minutes. Manual Selection: Target a Specific Concern To focus on a single concern, tap the III symbol next to the power button to cycle to your desired colour. The mask will run that wavelength for the full 20-minute session. Best for: - Active breakout? Blue only. - Focused anti-aging session? Red only. - Brightening before an event? Amber only. Frequently Asked Questions Which light is best for anti-aging? Red (633nm). Use it daily for best results, as collagen stimulation is cumulative. Which light is best for acne? Blue (415nm). For active breakouts, you can run a dedicated blue-only session. Can I use all three lights in one session? Yes. The automatic mode does exactly this. It's the recommended approach for most users. Do the lights cause any discomfort? You will notice warmth during your session, which is completely normal and a sign the device is working. You should never feel sharp pain or burning. If you do, discontinue use.
